How did I get 700+ reads in 2 months?
In two months, I get 700+ reads. Here are my suggestions for writers.
Be open.
This is the first thing I must say during writing. Your writing must come from the heart. Be open to your readers. There are lots of people who share the same opinion as you, you are just a tool that says their ideas. Of course, you are adding some ideas to the article but write for conveying something, write for touch.
Your writing must be clear and concise. Convey your ideas directly, conveying ideas with flashy words that no one used for the century is never good for anyone. If you want to give a message write like you are talking with somebody. And when you are talking with somebody, they generally ask questions. Try questioning yourself about your writing and trying to answer them as much as possible.
Make your research throughly.
If you are writing on science subjects like me, I suggest reading and investigating books, articles whatever that comes to you about that subject. Take small notes about the subject while you are reading and investigating, this may be your template for the next article.
References! References are very important for your readers and credibility. References must be given in the article whenever you are using intellectual property that is not yours. This must be performed with all of the writers. Mendeley Reference Manager and other reference managers can help with referencing.
Write what you love.
Write what you love. So, good writing comes from the heart. You can research more thoroughly and comprehensively a subject that you like. You will write good articles about a subject you like. Try new things and find what you love.
I love science. I can read a book that has the slightest knowledge about science and chemistry. So, when I read lots of books, I said that “I have read lots of books and have some ideas”. Now it will be a time to write some things about your ideas, life, education, or just your personal experiences. Start from scratch and build on it.
Take notes on the books, notebooks.
If you are a book reader like me you must know that losing yourself in the books is very easy. In order to navigate through these dark tunnels, notes will help you. Taking notes on the important paragraphs, or writing your thoughts about that subject will help create a new article. This will also help you understand the ideas behind books. Also, it has a special meaning for me. You can leave your books to your son, and your nephews with your notes. Everyone has the same book as you but when you add notes to that, it becomes unique. And with notes, you will speak with them through writing.
These notes will accumulate and create new articles for you. If you gather your notes from all other books, this will create a mixture that has all different ideas and opinions. Notes will evoke thoughts within you. I think it is the most important point of all points.
